CXI/Texmark has an active R&D unit located in Galena Park, Texas with a major emphasis on improvements to existing processes and the development of new products, responding to specific customer's needs. About 14% of the workforce is involved in research and development activities.

• Products can be developed under secrecy agreements with potential customers.

• The focus at CXI/Texmark is on market driven research and on technical support to customers.

Pilot Plant

• Pilot Plant - The pilot plant includes 50 - 100 gallon reactors in stainless steel and Inconel.

• The pilot plant can also model both batch and continuous distillations, liquid-liquid extraction, and batch reactions, such as alkylation and polymerization.
